One year ago today, my stepdad passed away. As many of you may know, he meant a lot to me. To help me understand and deal with the effects of grief and loss, I made a mashup album (Everything Is Wonderful) and two mashup EPs (Yours Truly, Nevermore). These projects follow a similar progression, as grief and loss lead to isolation, and how isolation leads to new beginnings, and the love that grows from it. This is, in a sense, the finale to the Wonderful saga. While the loss I've experienced will never go away, I'm learning how to live with it and accept it. And it's time to work on moving forward with everything.

I'd like to thank all of you for following along, and supporting me during this really turbulent time for me and my family. Despite my love/hate relationship with mashups and mashup culture lately, I am very thankful that there's still quite a few of you keeping up and supporting me. I don't really know what's going to happen next for this channel, but regardless, I'm glad you've enjoyed my art. Thank you.
